Can time slow down a bit please? How is it June already???? In the next blink it’s going to be like… Christmas!
Well, let’s take a look at what we did in May!
1. Carrot Cake Smoothie // 2. Soft and Chewy Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies // 3. Roasted Garlic Vegan Mashed Potatoes // 4. Vegan Peppermint Milkshakes // 5. Coconut Ice Cream with Toasted Coconut Topping // 6. Vegan Chocolate Ganache Pecan Pie // 7. Hearty Vegan Cottage Pie // 8. Vegan Vanilla Cupcakes with Strawberry Vanilla Frosting // 9. Creamy Vegan Mushroom Risotto
Have you tried any so far? Favorites? My absolute stand-out favorites this month were the chocolate ganache pecan pie and the vanilla cupcakes. But I mean, it’s hard to compete with desserts isn’t it. The cottage pie was right up there too!
COMING UP IN JUNE
Oh wow, some good stuff coming your way! I am super excited I tell you! Check out this sneak peek!
Looks GOOD amirite?
WHAT WE’RE READING
Jaye is completely lost in the Stephen King I was reading a little while ago, Finders Keepers. I am like not even seeing him lately, he is just nose in book and will be until it’s finished. That’s what happens when you get into a Stephen King book! I’m jealous! I have about 4 books on the go right now, but nothing to write home about. Any recommendations? Post ’em down below!
WHAT WE’RE WATCHING
We just binge watched our way through all 3-seasons of Miranda, the British comedy series. We laughed ourselves silly. Like rolled around laughing. I had to keep pushing pause so we could roar with laughter and then carry on watching so we didn’t miss anything. I love love LOVE Miranda Hart (who wrote and starred in the show), she’s my new favorite person.
We also watched the first season of Netflix show ‘Love’ which we ‘loved’.
Also watched ‘Black Mirror’ which was pretty disturbing actually. But very good.
What are you currently watching?
WHAT THE KIDS ARE UP TO
Have I introduced the kids before? Not sure I have! They are Frankie and Ernie. Full names Francesca and Earnest. The brother and sister who have been with us since they were two months old. And they turn 5 this month!
So what are the kids doing? Well, the kids are doing a lot of sleeping, occasional playing, stretching, plenty of cuddling, enthusiastic eating, and inbetween their very busy schedules, a spot of bird watching. And occasionally forcing their way into my sock drawer because apparently, it’s comfortable.
So that’s that! Hope you had a great month of May and that June will be even better!
