This fabulous blended green juice is made in a blender, not a juicer.
It tastes just like a juice, yet it’s actually a smoothie retaining all that fabulous fiber.
With just 2-ingredients this recipe is simple and delicious and packed with all sorts of healthy-for-you goodies.
To make this blended green juice, you simply blend baby spinach with freshly squeezed orange juice.
The taste of the OJ overtakes the taste of spinach so you only taste the spinach very mildly, in a delicious, earthy, oh-my-word-I’m-drinking-spinach-and-it-tastes-good, kind of way.
I use my citrus juicer attachment to my food processor to make fresh orange juice.
If you buy it ready squeezed, that’ll cut the prep time of this recipe down from around 15 minutes to 5!
I really prefer squeezing my own OJ though as it always seems sweeter than what I buy in the store, which is usually quite tart.
And for best results on this juice, you want deliciously sweet orange juice as your base ingredient.
Drink one of these for breakfast or to rehydrate you post-workout or just have it as a snack. It’s refreshing, hydrating, invigorating and uplifting!

Gorgeous 2-ingredient blended green juice recipe. You don’t even need a juicer to make this, just a basic blender will work fine. Refreshing, invigorating and oh-so-healthy, you’ll love this juice for breakfast or a post-workout snack.
- 2.5 cups (600ml) Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
- 3.5 oz (100g) Baby Spinach
- Add the freshly squeezed orange juice to the blender followed by the baby spinach.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
*Prep time includes squeezing the oranges to make your own fresh OJ.
