I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is the best raw food program I have seen anywhere.
Are the recipes calorie counted?
No, they are not. And there is a very deliberate, very good reason for this.
While on this cleanse, the objective is to eat the most nutritious foods, simply flooding your body with high nutrient density.
The recipes are already of a low caloric density, which means that you get more bang for your buck – a lot of nutrition and satisfying volume, with a relatively low number of calories.
That being said, when you focus on calories, a diet coke will seem like a better idea than a fresh pressed juice. And that is very contrary to the goals of this cleanse.
While we’re not food snobs, this IS a cleanse. And we want you to enjoy every delicious bite, getting back in touch with your body and its needs. This cleanse is a complete reset of your tastebuds and will help your body to rebalance itself, putting unhealthy cravings to rest.

Will I lose weight on this cleanse?
You might. And you might not. The thing with body weight is that there is a lot of complex systems in place that determine your body weight.
While it is common to lose a few pounds on this cleanse, especially those few pounds of ‘puffiness’ that we often accumulate due to factors like processed foods and too much sodium – leading you to look as if you lost quite a bit of weight when it may just be a few pounds – the fact is that this doesn’t happen for everyone. It really depends on numerous factors such as your diet/lifestyle pre-cleanse, your fluid balance, hormone balance, metabolism, dieting history and many other factors.
However, if weight loss is your goal, this cleanse will certainly kickstart you in the right direction -sustainably healthy lifestyle habits – by introducing you to healthy cooking, numerous ways to eat abundant quantities of fruits and vegetables each day, and nutrient rich, low caloric density recipes that will serve you well long after the cleanse is over.
How many servings do the recipes offer?
The recipes are all easily scalable up or down. However, they generally serve 1-4. Yes, we know this sounds vague! But trust us, it actually makes sense! If you’re cooking something like a veggie-packed stew, it’s going to serve 4, but if you’re only cooking for 1, this won’t be an issue, as you can simply eat it over a few days (and yes, it’s that good, you won’t mind a bit!). Whereas if you’re making a smoothie, the recipe will likely serve 1, as that is fresh food that needs to be consumed quickly.
We also have it in mind that dinner recipes may be made for more than just you. And the great thing about these recipes is that everyone will enjoy them, you don’t even need to tell anyone they’re part of a ‘cleanse’.
Do you use easy-to-find ingredients?
We definitely think so! It’s regular produce, fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds that you’ll find at any supermarket. We do use some ‘fancier’ items like quinoa but these days even quinoa is pretty much available at every regular supermarket too.
However, of course the availability of every type of produce depends heavily on your location, so we have focused on a variety of ingredients, so that if you can’t find an ingredient to make a particular recipe, there are plenty of other recipes that you can substitute for it.
Do I have to follow the meal-plan?
Oh no! You definitely do not. If you’re a rebel and don’t like to follow meal-plans (we totally get it), you don’t need to at all.
We provided an entire extra ebook of recipes that you can use to substitute for any recipe that you find you don’t love. And you can mix and match things as you prefer. ALL the meals in this program are power-packed with plant-based nutrition. You can really make them/eat them in whatever order you like and your results will be fantastic.
Are the recipes gluten-free?
Around 98.8% of them are gluten-free. Exact calculation. The remaining 1.2% can very easily be adapted to be gluten-free.
For example one of the recipes is for a couscous salad, but if you prefer to keep your cleanse entirely gluten-free, you can simply switch this out for quinoa. Each recipe that contains gluten also contains an instruction on how to make the recipe gluten-free.
How many recipes will I get with this program?
