Who Are We? Meet the Creators of Simple Vegan Dinner Recipes!
We’re Alison and Jaye, the founders of Loving It Vegan and the creators of Simple Vegan Dinner Recipes. We know exactly what it’s like to be uninspired at dinnertime. This in spite of the fact that we’ve been eating a plant based vegan diet for over a decade! Not to mention, we kinda cook (and bake) for a living! So how is it even possible that we regularly found ourselves staring into an empty fridge at dinnertime with no clue as to what to make for dinner?
Lack of planning will get you every time.
This was our inspiration to create Simple Vegan Dinner Recipes! We knew that if we were struggling with this, you probably were too! So we created this program to give you (and ourselves!) a roadmap to delicious healthy plant based dinners! With all the planning taken care of. We’ll be following this alongside you. Never again will we have to ask: ‘What’s for dinner?’ At least not without already smugly knowing the answer!
You can use these recipes exactly as planned for the first month and then just start again with week 1, or you can just pick your favorites and create a new menu plan based only on your total faves. Either way, you’re going to get a whole new bunch of fresh, simple, delicious meals that’ll save you money and time, and benefit your health too, cos we all know home cooked is the way forward when it comes to healthy!

Are all the recipes plant-based?
100% plant based vegan all the way!
Are the recipes gluten-free?
Almost all of them are, yes. The ones that are not, have easy instructions on ingredients to switch out for gluten-free friendliness. For example, a lot of the recipes use soy sauce, so you can either switch this out for tamari or make sure you buy a gluten-free soy sauce. Another recipe that uses couscous contains an instruction to switch the couscous out for quinoa to make it gluten-free. If you follow a gluten-free diet, you will easily be able to make all the recipes gluten-free.
How many serves do the recipes contain?
Generally 2-4. Whether it will serve 2 or 4 will depend on appetites! Almost all the dishes will keep well in the fridge though so quite a few lunches will be taken care of too. A few of the dishes have more servings, like the Lentil Bolognese Pasta Bake that can serve up to 8 people! This isn’t an issue though because it keeps beautifully in the fridge so your lunches will be taken care of for a few days too! Or you could have some guests over for that one!
Are the ingredients easy to find?
We definitely think so! Of course availability can differ quite drastically from place to place, but we’ve focused on simple ingredients that we think are easy to find. Right now, we’re based in a small seaside town in South Africa, and we’ve been able to get everything here, so we reckon they’re ingredients you can find quite easily wherever you are.
Do you use fake meats in this program?
No, we don’t. Not because we have anything against fake meats (we think they’re great!), but because what’s available will be quite different from place to place. The only meat replacement we’ve used in this program is tofu.
Do I have to follow the menu plan?
Not at all! If you like to shake things up, you go right ahead! Of course the shopping lists have been formulated for each week, so if you want to follow the program as designed, then you’d still need to use the shopping lists for the week, but when it comes to the order of the meals for that week, you can have them as you want them!
Do the recipes contain nutritional information?
They do! In the interests of providing as much information and clarity as possible we have provided all the recipes with full nutritional info. However, we’ve put this info right at the bottom of each recipe so if you don’t want to see it (this can be triggering for some people) you can also just ignore it!
Of course, the nutritional information is an estimate based on recommended ingredients and using a free online calculator such as cronometer.com. For the most accurate results, you should calculate it based on the exact ingredients you use.
How many recipes will I get with this program?
There are 31 dinner recipes and 7 desserts. So it’s a full month of dinners, planned and ready to go! And then the 7 desserts are really a bonus for when you want something sweet. These can be made anytime! They don’t form part of the menu plan or shopping lists, they’re just for as and when you want them!
Are the recipes the same as what I can find on your blog?
No! They’re entirely original, never seen before recipes that have not been (and will not be) published anywhere else.
Do you offer a print version of this program?
No we don’t. This program is entirely digital. The recipes, shopping lists and menu plan, as well as 4 awesome videos, will be available to you instantly for download once your purchase is complete.
