This vegan tartar sauce is so much better than anything you can buy off the shelf! It’s also ready in 5 minutes and totally divine as a dip.
- Add vegan mayonnaise to a mixing bowl along with the finely chopped dill pickle, dried dill, onion powder, dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt and ground black pepper.
- Mix together well.
- Place into the fridge for at least 30 minutes to chill and for the flavors to blend together.
*You can use 1 Tablespoon of finely chopped fresh onion instead of onion powder for equally delicious results.
*Dijon mustard is a great flavor blend for this, but you can also use another type of prepared mustard instead.
*The lemon juice should ideally be freshly squeezed for the best taste results.
*This is ideal to make ahead of time as the flavors get even better after a day chilling in the fridge.
*Leftovers keep very well in the fridge for up to a week.
