Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almond Milk (240ml)
  • 1 Tablespoon Almond Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 1 Medium Frozen Banana (100g)
  • 1 cup Fresh Mango (165g)
  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries (300g)

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to the blender jug starting with almond milk, then almond butter, maple syrup, frozen banana, mango and strawberries.
  • Blend until very smooth.
  • Pour out into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  1. Almond milk - can be replaced with a different milk, whatever you have on hand will work.
  2. Almond butter - can be switched for any nut butter that you have on hand with slightly different flavor results.
  3. Maple syrup - is optional and can be omitted if you like.
  4. Frozen banana - whenever you have extra ripe bananas on hand, peel them, break them into quarters (or smaller) and then place them into a freezer safe bag or container and freeze them. That way they're always ready for smoothies.
  5. Strawberries and mango - we used fresh strawberries and mango but if they're out of season you can use frozen fruit.
