Vegan Tartar Sauce

This vegan tartar sauce is so much better than anything you can buy off the shelf! It's also ready in 5 minutes and totally divine as a dip.

  • Add vegan mayonnaise to a mixing bowl along with the finely chopped dill pickle, dried dill, onion powder, dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt and ground black pepper. 
  • Mix together well. 
  • Place into the fridge for at least 30 minutes to chill and for the flavors to blend together. 


  1. You can use 1 Tablespoon of finely chopped fresh onion instead of onion powder for equally delicious results. 
  2. Dijon mustard is a great flavor blend for this, but you can also use another type of prepared mustard instead. 
  3. This is ideal to make ahead of time as the flavors get even better after a day chilling in the fridge. 
  4. Leftovers keep very well in the fridge for up to a week.
