This mango orange crush smoothie consists of only 2 ingredients and you can whip it up in record time.
It tastes like those sorbet ice lollies you ate as a kid, and it’s cold and refreshing and ideal for a snack on a warm day. Or a cold day. Any day really.
It’s also perfect for a light refreshing breakfast or to fuel you up pre or post-workout.
And then it’s insanely healthy too. Get your fruit serves in for the day in a most pleasurable way indeed!

While we don’t eat like that anymore, we still seriously appreciate good fruit. And this ice cold slushie-shake is the business!
Just frozen mango blended into freshly squeezed orange juice and bingo – you get to drink this amazing shake.
The frozen mango you use can either be store bought (perfectly fine and what we used for this shake) or if mangoes are in season currently, you can always peel a few mangoes, remove the core and chop them into pieces and freeze in a freezer bag.
I find home frozen mango is often even more delicious than the store bought variety, but either one will do just fine.
It’s best to squeeze the OJ yourself for this one. That way you know it’s fresh and somehow home squeezed OJ is always sweeter.
If your food processor has a citrus juicer attachment (most do) then this is an easy way to do it, and what I usually do as it’s quicker than hauling out your juicer.

- 2 cups (500ml) Orange Juice (freshly squeezed)
- 4 cups (450g) Frozen Mango (cubes, loosely packed)
- Squeeze the oranges using a citrus juicer until you have two cups worth.
- Pour the orange juice into the blender jug.
- Add the mango pieces to the blender.
- Blend until smooth.
*This smoothie tastes much better with freshly squeezed OJ, as it's sweeter.
