    Mango Smoothie

This mango smoothie is so creamy and delicious. Just 2-ingredients and 5 minutes to the most delicious healthy vegan breakfast smoothie.

Oh wow! Don’t you just love mango?

I think it’s my favorite fruit. Well, I really do loooove fruit, so I have a lot of favorites, but mango is right up there. So juicy and fabulous.

Well, this mango smoothie tastes like the most glorious double-thick, creamy, smooth mango custard you’ve ever imagined.

And it does that with just 2-ingredients and takes just 5-minutes.

Now if you’ve been following this blog for a while you might notice that my smoothies (like my watermelon smoothie for example) tend to have very few ingredients.

And this is very deliberate. I don’t like smoothies that contain everything but the kitchen sink. A smoothie to me is not an attempt to clear out all the fruit leftovers into a big mishmash of flavors.

The fewer ingredients you use, the more the flavors pop.

    The Magical Ingredient

The magical smoothie ingredient is frozen banana. It really acts like ice-cream when you use it in smoothies.

It becomes quite neutral in flavor once frozen, allowing whatever other fruit you’ve mixed it with to really shine, but providing that wonderfully cold double-thick milkshake kind of texture that is just soooo delicious.

    Enjoy Immediately

I’m not going to give you tips on how to make these last so you can make them now and eat them tomorrow, because I don’t think that works here at all.

Fresh fruit should be eaten promptly because it oxidizes, and this is totally cool because it’s nature’s candy. If it was manmade candy it would be different, but this is the good stuff from nature so make it and eat it within the hour.

So I have some color changing tumblers that I put this amazing smoothie in and I think the cup likes the smoothie too. I put ice water in one of these cups every night but it will not seem to want to change color. I just used a lime green cup and almost instantly it turned dark green so lol. The smoothie is so good btw.

Just getting ready to make a Mango Smoothie. I ordered one nearly every morning when I was in Cabo for 2 weeks in November. I thought they said they added a bit of orange juice to it. Done that? I want simple! 🙂

Hi there, we didn’t use any added liquid, but you can add it if you like to make a thinner consistency.

Just found your recipe on a search for “mango smoothie” and made this with one fresh mango and a half frozen banana. I just served it to my 12 year old daughter who absolutely raved about it and was sad to get to the bottom of the cup. She ate it with a spoon, for the record 🙂5 stars
